Root Canal Treatments (RCT) also known as Endodontic Treatment is done when tooth decay reaches pulp of your teeth. It is also done when there is tooth injury involving pulp. During this procedure infected pulp or affected pulp is removed. Pulp is located in space known as pulp canal within tooth structure, which is cleaned and shaped. After cleaning and shaping the pulp canal is filled with artificial material and finally filling is done over the cavity.
Root Canal Treatment can also be sometime done intentionally by your dentist depending upon your case. RCT takes multiple visits to finish but sometimes it can be done in Single Visit, which depends upon your case.
